Our Church Hall is available to book.

Chairs can seat about 100 people depending on layout. Removing chairs provides a great space (approx. 7m x 7m) that can be used for many things, including yoga! We have broadband and a landline to keep you connected.

Our Hall is a popular facility to rent, and has the ability to be fully open, or divided into 2 smaller spaces.

The Hall measures approximately 10m by 12m.  Great for parties, clubs and as a dance studio. We host lots of business activities too.

Our kitchen is a great size to cater for events in our Hall. We have a fridge, full oven, microwave, tea urns and tea trolley.

Alongside our rentable spaces, we have a communal entrance which leads to male and female toilets and a disabled accessible toilet.

The whole church is accessible (no steps!) and we also have a small car park for easy access.

Our Story

Local Methodist history in Chelsfield traces its roots back to the 16th of February 1812, when the first small group meetings were held in the kitchen of Hewitts Farmhouse.

In the Begining...

The first official Methodist Church building within Chelsfield Village was completed in 1872. Its memorial foundation stone was laid on July 5, 1872, by Sir Francis Lycett.

The Fiirst Church

We are part of the Widmore Circuit (historically Sevenoaks until 1971) in the London District of the Methodist Church

A Circuit Church

A Modern Church

Todays modern Chelsfield Church on Windsor Drive was built to serve the growing demographic community in New Chelsfield in 1966.  We brought the Organ from the original Chuch, but today we worship in modern, well-lit, open space premises.
